Back Pain

Your back allows your body to move, twist, and bend throughout your busy day. It also is the critical element of protecting your central nervous system. If you are experiencing chronic back pain, it is important you schedule an appointment today.

Lower Body Pain

Pain in your hips, legs, knees, and toes can start with misalignment in your spine. With effective spinal adjustments, we can relieve the pressure on your nerves, allowing your nervous system to function properly and alleviate the pain in your lower body.

Upper Body Pain

Not only does upper body pain in your neck, shoulders, and arm decrease your range of motion, it can also generate headaches, facial pain, dizziness, thyroid, or nasal problems.

At LifeGiving Chiropractic, we use thorough examinations designed to diagnose and treat any spinal disorder that is causing you musculoskeletal or nerve pain.

Back Pain

Whether you are experiencing upper back pain, middle back pain, or lower back pain, you know it can be excruciating and prevent you from doing everyday activities as well as the things you love. Back pain can be caused by a number of things such as sciatica, nerve and muscular problems, herniated discs, back injury, sports injuries, prolonged sitting, arthritis, and much more. At Lifegiving Chiropractic, we believe that an accurate diagnosis is key to determining the best course of action for your particular body. From there, we can determine the proper course of treatment to eliminate the underlying cause of your back pain.

Lower Body Pain

Stay moving and on your feet.

For the many of us that experience pain in our hips, legs, ankles, and feet, we know how debilitating this can be. When there is a dysfunction in the lower body, and we are unable to move correctly, the entire biomechanics of the spine can be altered, resulting in increased spinal muscle tension and nerve compression. Lower body pain can be experienced differently for many people. For some pain starts in the lower back and travels down the legs, others experience pain in the back of the legs, front of the thighs, or down the side on one leg. For others, the pain is isolated below the knee in the feet or the toes.

This pain can be generated by several issues that occur in your spine, such as disc degeneration, disc herniation, subluxations, or osteoarthritis. These bone misalignments compress the spinal nerves that start in the low back and travel down into the legs and feet. At LifeGiving Chiropractic, we are dedicated to identifying the root cause of your lower body pain and working with you to correct the cause and get you back on your feet again.

Upper Body Pain

Eliminate Neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand pain

Upper body pain, such as pain in your neck, shoulder, and arms, can also be contributed to misalignment in your spine that may be causing damage to your nervous system. The ‘brachial plexus’ is made up of nerves that come out of the middle and upper back; it supplies information to the shoulder, arm, elbow, wrist, hands, and fingers. If the nerves in the brachial plexus become irritated, due to misalignment in the spinal bones or lack of range of motion, they can end up damaging the nerves they are supposed to protect. Muscles and Joints can also contribute to tightness in the brachial plexus, which can generate additional pressure to be placed on the nerves and blood vessels, which can create numb, tingly, or painful sensations down your arms.

Whether your upper body pain has been caused by an injury, a sediment lifestyle, or a previously diagnosed condition, our dedicated chiropractics can help alleviate the pressure by identifying the nerve-damaging structure condition and prevent any further damage.

Take control of your health and body.

At LifeGiving Chiropractic, we are able to diagnose and treat many different spinal disorders that cause musculoskeletal or nerve pain. Our evaluations and treatment programs are developed to alleviate pain, identify the problem creating your specific discomfort, crafting a customized treatment plan, and assisting in preventing any recurrence. Some of the spine related problems we specialize in treating are listed below:

  • Coccydynia – pain that develops in the spine’s tailbone
  • Myofascial pain – chronic pain disorder where pressure on sensitive points in your muscles can cause deep, aching pain in seemingly unrelated parts of your body
  • Piriformis syndrome – pain that causes numbness and tingling down through the buttock(s) and into one or both legs
  • Sciatica – causes pain, weakness, tingling, or numbness in the legs due to a damaged sciatic nerve
  • Carpal Tunnel – excessive pressure placed on the median nerve of the wrist that causes loss of feeling, immobility, numbness, or tingling
  • Fibromyalgia – a disorder causing general unease and constant pain
  • Osteoarthritis – normal wearing and age of the body’s joint that often causes mild to severe pain
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis – autoimmune disease resulting in long-term inflammation of joints and surrounding tissues
